Hayley & Lee’s Inn on The Lake Wedding Pictures

I had really been looking forward to shooting Hayley & Lee’s Inn on The Lake wedding pictures! The couple had seen some pictures I had shot at this venue the previous year of Mel and Tim’s wedding, and got in touch to book me. I was really excited about returning, but what made it even better was that the couples dog willow was going to be in attendance and the couple had booked a two hour cruise on the lake for their guests. Also, as Hayley and Lee were keen walkers, they wanted to have some portrait pictures taken on one of their favourite hiking paths. This was a new thing for me as although I have ventured to fields and parks before, a hiking trail was a new thing to add to the list! Unfortunately on the day the mist had dropped so much that when we got the the hiking location we were actually in a cloud and the valley below was not visible, but the river cruise turned out to provide some great photo opportunities, so all was not lost!

Here’s a couple of sneak preview pictures. I’ll update this post with more over the next few weeks but I just HAD to share the view of The Inn on The Lake from the boat, and also a shot from the river cruise.

The weather was on / off rain all day but we had plenty of umbrellas and when the rain had reduced to a drizzle, we got cracking with the group pictures. This venue is so picturesque in any weather that your Inn on The Lake wedding pictures will look great regardless of your chosen season. Maybe a good idea to bring umbrellas though!
